Crisis Rocks Obama And Michelle's Marriage

WASHINGTON -Michelle Obama has had enough. According to a bombshell new report, the First Lady and Barack Obama are sleeping in separate White House bedrooms. Michelle is also preparing to boot her hubby of 21 years out of their ritzy Chicago home - and seriously discussing divorce.
“The smart money says the marriage is doomed,” a source told the National Enquirer. “Barack and Michelle have had a rocky go for years and mainly stayed together for their daughters and his political career. “But now Michelle is mad as hell. She feels violated in front of the whole world, and screamed at him, ‘I’ve had enough.’ “She’s met with divorce lawyers and told Barack that she wants a life apart from him. “Michelle will stay in the White House for the rest of Barack’s term for appearances’ sake, but she made it clear they’ll be leading separate lives.
“She’s moving into one of the vacant bedrooms in the family’s private living quarters, and she’s preparing to move his clothes and personal things out of their million-dollar house in Chicago.” Michelle was left furious after Barack was photographed brazenly flirting with Denmark’s dishy female prime minister, Helle Thorning-Schmidt, during the service for former South African president Nelson Mandela. Obama, 52, laughed and whispered with the 46-year-old Danish beauty throughout the solemn ceremony, at one point cavalierly caressing her shoulder. “Barack already had enough headaches with his public approval rating plummeting after the disastrous rollout of his ‘Obamacare’ health plan. Now he’s walked smack into the worst marital crisis of his life,” said the White House insider.

Meet Teju Phillips' Son Who Is A DJ

-The Intimate Story of DJ Caise

The name, Derin Philips might not ring a bell to most people. But his sobriquet, DJ Caise does. The 27 year-old handsome guy is one of the wave-making personalities within the Nigerian entertainment industry at the moment. Innovative, entertaining and eclectic are some words that clearly describe music productions and remixes from DJ Caise. His entry into the Nigerian music scene with his creative blend of local and international sounds to create what he terms ‘GidiHouseMusic’ couldn’t have come at a better time.
Derin Phillips, also goes by the code name ‘Mr Make It Happen’. And he has made ‘it’ happen on several tracks. As a producer, he is known for several hit tracks including Lynxxx ‘International’, and as a DJ, has done some famous remixes such as 2face vs Calvin Harris ‘Implication vs Flashback’ and the M.I. & Waje ‘One Naira’ remix.
Derin is the in-house DJ for the radio station, BEAT 99.9 FM and is signed on as the DJ for Chocolate City, the record label that has artistes such as M.I, Brymo, Ice Prince and more. DJ Caise's grandfather is the world acclaimed billionaire, Ambassador Deinde Fernandez. His mother is the first child of Ambassador Fernandez. This explains the uncanny resemblance DJ Caise shares with his hugely famous mother.
DJ Caise attended Atlantic Hall and bagged a degree in Business Economics and a Masters in Finance from the University of Reading, in the United Kingdom. He is a very humble and purpose driven young man. And naturally, he is quite a catch among most young society debutantes. One of such debutantes that had been romantically linked with him is Jumai Shaba. However, the very dishy DJ Caise is not being linked with any lady at the moment.

Francis Atuche
A prosecution witness for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Chukwuma Orji, on Tuesday presented documents to a Lagos High Court to show how three top management staff of the Keystone Bank connived with an Indian man, Ashok Isran, to convert over N800 million of an investor’s fund to personal use.
The fund, which reportedly belonged to Mr. Daniel Chukwudozie, the Managing Director of Dozzy Oil and Gas Limited, was for investment in shares through the Bank.
Francis Atuche, a former Managing Director of Bank PHB, is also accused of forging board resolutions for a client-company in order to perfect the scam. Mr. Atuche reportedly diverted the funds by claiming that the deposit was made under “non-existing share placement.”
Standing trial alongside Mr. Atuche for conspiracy and for illegally obtaining the sum of N855 million are Deputy Manager of Keystone Bank, Mr. Anayo Nwosu, an Indian conspirator, Ashok Isran, representatives respectively of NULEC Company and Keystone Bank used to facilitate the fraud, Olajide Oshodi and Sunny Obazee, as well as the two companies involved in the fraud, NULEC Industries Limited and Keystone Bank.

ASUU Strike: Presidency provides evidence of N200 billion CBN deposit

Okupe insists government has no plans to victimise lecturers

The Preside
ncy on Tuesday said the Central Bank of Nigeria has confirmed that N200 billion – amount agreed on by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, and the Federal Government at a meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan on November 5- has been fully paid into a Revitalisation of Universities Infrastructure Account.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Doyin Okupe, made the letter by the Deputy Governor of CBN, Tunde Lemo, addressed to the Accountant General of the Federation, Jonah Otunla, available to journalists on Tuesday in Abuja.
The letter, titled CONFIRMATION OF THE EXECUTION OF YOUR MANDATE FOR THE CREDIT OF ACCOUNT ON REVITALISATION OF UNIVERSITIES INFRASTRUCTURE ACCOUNT, indicated that the sum was paid in three tranches of N129.3 billion, N20.7 billion and N50 billion into the account as directed.
While reiterating that the president was fully committed to the implementation of agreements reached with ASUU, Mr. Okupe said a Needs Assessment Implementation Committee, with representatives of ASUU on board, would be inaugurated on Wednesday in order to fast-track the utilisation of the released funds and tackle infrastructural deficiency in the university system.

EXCLUSIVE: Obasanjo writes Jonathan, accuses president of lying, destroying Nigeria, promoting corruption

An apparently angry and frustrated ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo has written what clearly competes as one of the most acerbic letters in modern history to President Goodluck Jonathan, accusing him of ineptitude and of taking actions calculated at destroying Nigeria.
“Nigeria is bleeding and the hemorrhage must be stopped,” Mr. Obasanjo said in the 18-page letter dated December 2, 2013 and exclusively obtained by PREMIUM TIMES Tuesday.
He said Mr. Jonathan has failed to deliver on his promises to the Nigerian people, stem corruption, promote national unity and strengthen national security.
He said in the letter titled “Before it is too late” that rather than take steps to advance Nigeria’s interest and up the standards of living of Nigerians, Mr. Jonathan had betrayed God and the Nigerian people that brought him to power, and has been pursuing selfish personal and political interests based on advice he receives from “self-centred aides”.
In the detailed letter, dripping of anger , frustration and what appears a genuine concern to rescue a nation on the brink, Mr. Obasanjo lamented that Mr. Jonathan had become terribly divisive and clannish, destroying his own party, polarizing the country along regional and religious lines and ridiculing Nigeria in the comity of nations.

EXCLUSIVE: Jonathan, Alison-Madueke, Okonjo-Iweala culpable in diversion of N8 trillion oil funds

President Goodluck Jonathan and two of his top ministers may be attempting a cover-up on what clearly competes as Nigeria’s biggest fraud ever, involving the illegal diversion, or theft, of over N8 trillion crude oil sales proceeds.
In a frantic and unusual memo to the president on September 25, 2013, Central Bank governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi detailed how government-owned oil firm, the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, had systematically diverted the huge sum, being sales proceeds between January 2012 and July 2013.
The CBN governor said for all crude oil sales within the
period, the NNPC paid only 24 percent proceeds into the federation account, and diverted or stole the remaining 76 percent-totalling N8 trillion.
As the CBN calculated, the NNPC sold at least 594 million barrels of oil within the period, and should have paid N10.3 trillion (USD65.3 billion) into the federation account. But the corporation paid only N2.5 trillion (USD15.5 billion), Mr. Sanusi said, citing documentation from pre-shipment inspectors.
The whereabouts of the huge balance is unknown.
The weight of the differential is clearer if evaluated against the fact that the tiny percentage remitted by the NNPC managed to finance the nation in that period, raising the question of how much the total would then have achieved for a country unable to pay its university lecturers who have been on strike for five months.
Put simply, for each barrel of oil sold, say at an average of USD100, the NNPC illegally cornered $74 into an unknown account and gave Nigeria only $26.
Mr. Sanusi said he was “constrained” to hint the president after observing the huge shortfalls for years. He accused the NNPC of breaching two key federal laws, and urged the president to act expeditiously by ordering sweeping investigation and prosecution of those found culpable.

Ibori’s Lawyers Ask UK Prosecutors For $3 Million In Legal Fees

By Saharareporters, New York
Lawyers acting for disgraced former Governor James Ibori of Delta State have sent UK prosecutors a bill for nearly £2 million after hearings meant to identify Mr. Ibori’s stolen funds and assets were abandoned three months ago, SaharaReporters has learnt.
A court in London heard that the whopping £1.9 million bill was handed to the Crown Prosecution Service by Mr. Ibori's lawyers who believe the UK taxpayer should pay for the preparation they made for the three weeks of hearings before the process was abandoned.
“We were incredibly surprised to receive the bill,” prosecutor Sasha Wass told the court. “We think it's not proportionate to say the least.”
In September, Judge Anthony Pitts ordered that the confiscation process be stopped and restarted at a later date after three weeks of hearings at the Southwark Crown Court. The judge’s ruling came after the defense team had pointed out a discrepancy in the way the case was being prepared by the prosecutors and their own understanding of the law.
The prosecution was assuming that the basis for the confiscation was that Mr. Ibori had the “lifestyle” of a criminal, living beyond his legitimate means, on the proceeds of crime.
The defense team, which has undergone some personnel changes since Mr. Ibori's conviction in April 2012, said that they disputed this framing of the case, adding that further ruling would be required before the process could continue.
