WHY ATIKU ABUBAKAR IS NOT HAPPY WITH HIS FIRST WIFE, TITI AMINAT

-AS FOURTH WIFE, JENNIFER TAKES OVER

Nigeria’s former Vice-President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has become the most talked-about politician lately. The Turaki Adamawa boasts of a fertile experience in politics, and this places him far above and ahead of other politicians. This explains why his recent ‘porting’ from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to All Progressives Congress, APC made headline news for many days. Although, Atiku is yet to unfold his game plans for 2015, his teeming admirers are, silently drumming up supports for him to get the ticket for the Presidency.
Prior to venturing into politics, Atiku was a retired custom officer and a highly successful businessman. Over the years, he has built his business empire to an enviable height. As a businessman, the Turaki Adamawa has also achieved so much success. He is married to four women, drawn from the three major tribes of Nigeria. But of all his wives, Hajia Titi Aminat and Jennifer Douglas are the most prominent. Hajia Titi, his first wife is Yoruba, with strong ties with Togo, while Jamilah his last wife is Ibo.
However, the gist coming from the home of the Turaki Adamawa has it that Titi has not been getting the best of attention from him.

Close sources disclosed that Atiku is not happy with his wife’s intrusive nature, as it relates to their children’s marital welfares and decisions. But Titi is learnt to have refused to heed her husband’s advice. Left with no other option, Atiku now pays more attention to Jamilah for. He is so besotted with this lady that he consults with her in most of the decisions that affect his life and pursuits.  Jamilah, who is also known as Jennifer, was formerly based in the United States, where she was PhD student at the American University in Washington. Some years back, she launched GEDE Foundation, a non-profit organisation in the USA. This attracted some Nigerian moneybags, who made generous donations so as to curry favour from her husband, who was then the country’s Vice-President. Atiku is said to enjoy the pampering and love that Jamilah showers on him. On her own part, Titi has confided in some of her close friends that she would rather invest her energy in taking care of her grandchildren than being bothered about being neglected by the Turaki Adamawa.
