PROPERTY MAGNATE, ALABA SHONIBARE'S BROTHER DIES OF HEART ATTACK

The Shonibare family was recently thrown into a state of grief over the death of Gbeyin Shonibare. He was the younger brother of Alaba Shonibare, the prominent lawyer and property magnate. Gbeyin passed away on Sunday, March 30, at his Shonibare Estate, Maryland residence, after suffering a heart attack. He was aged 54, and was the Managing Director of Odpins Limited, a construction and real estate company.
Sadly too, Gbeyin who used to live in the Atlanta Georgia, United States America, had just relocated to Nigeria, where he has been running his construction firm.  
Sources disclosed to The ELITES that, on the fateful day he died, Gbeyin had returned from church service and decided to relax in his apartment. His maiguard (security man) was reported to have decided to check up on his boss when he observed that he had not summoned him to send him on any errand. It was when he entered Gbeyin’s apartment that he discovered his lifeless body in the living room.
The late Gbeyin is the last of the children of the late astute businessman and renowned political stalwart of the defunct Action Group, Chief Samuel Olatubosun Shonibare and his wife, the late Mama Olaperi. He attended Millfielf School, England and the University of Nebraska, Nebraska, United States. The deceased is survived by, his wife, three children-Dawalola, Ope and Kayo, and many siblings.
His remains were interred today, at the Vaults and Gardens, Ikoyi.
