Prominent businessman and Aare Musilimi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Abdul-Azeez
Arisekola Alao is dead. He died this morning in London, United Kingdom, after a
protracted illness. He was aged 69.
The ELITES gathered that Aare Arisekola had been battling with the
undisclosed illness for some years. His condition assumed a more serious
dimension a couple of years back, and this saw him making less appearance at public
functions.
Aare Arisekola was reportedly flown to the United Kingdom to receive a
more extensive treatment. He was said to be responding well to treatment and
this raised hope that he was going to pull through the illness.
Since the news of Aare Arisekola’s death broke out a few hours ago, his
Ikolaba, Ibadan residence has become a Mecca of sort for people.
