Joshua Beckford is not your regular 8-year-old.
This bright-eyed kid is the outstanding toddler became the youngest person ever to attend Oxford University with dreams to become a neurosurgeon and an astronaut.
The 8-year old is currently a leading global face in the fight against autism. He is a member of the Autistic spectrum, the U.K National Autistic Society as well as raising awareness for charities including the CES Nigerian Charity and the GUBA Foundation, Ghana.
His outstanding accomplishments include being on the White House website for African American education.
Beckford is also the only child featured among the scientists of colour.
In May 2014, he did a presentation on the human anatomy to raise funds for the Afro-Caribbean Leukaemia Trust in Wembley with over five hundred people in attendance. Few days later, he performed in front of nine hundred guests with the Anna Kennedy Autism Got Talent 2014 show held at the Mermaid centre. Watch a clip of the performance below:
He was also a guest speaker at the National Autism show, speaking to a crowd of over three thousand people at the Excel Centre.
The promising toddler has also featured on several interviews for his work on autism including the London Live TV and Universal TV a Somali satellite TV station and an advert for autism on ABN TV for the GUBA Foundation.
Beckford was also among nineteen six formers in Haringey invited by Cambridge University (Kings College) for a dinner and a tour of the institution.
Surely the last is yet to be heard for this promising 8-year old currently blazing the trail in the medical field.
