Popular socialite and businessman, Alhaji Olarenwaju Akanni Mohammed has every reason to be happy. He has taken delivery of a brand new wife, and he is overwhelmed by marital euphoria. Last weekend, Lamex, as the socialite is popularly called, led some of his close friends to Ilorin, the capital city of Kwara State to perform the traditional and engagement ceremony with his new wife.

Medina Anako, a young lady, who is in her late 30's. The couple met six months ago, and have become quite fond of each other. Medina, who trained as a lawyer, lives on the Island, and she operates a thriving business ventures, which comprises of a bakery as well. She is from the prominent Anako family of Kogi State. Her mother, a retired police boss, is an active politician. A few years ago, Medina was romantically involved with Chief Demola Seriki, the former Minister of State for Defence. 

The duo of Seriki and Medinat was such a hot item a couple back then. The two met and fell in love while Medina was at the Nigeria Law School, Abuja. It was a well-known fact that Seriki was very much fond of Medina. This is because she stood by him during some of the toughest periods of his life. Also, Seriki was quite fond of stepping out with Medina at society events. But for the fact that Medinat’s mother disapproved of the affair, it would have ended in marriage.

With this new addition, most people are of the view that Lamex might end up having a formidable harem of wives. Soon. This is because, Medina, his latest wife is his fourth, officially. Also, Lamex also invested in the hospitality business, with the setting up of R & A , a highbrow hotel on Allen Avenue, Ikeja.
