- TB Joshua Lied- Wale Adedayo
-TB Joshua Should Shut Up- Lolu Akinwunmi
The Founder and General Overseer of The Synagogue Church of All Nations, Temitope Joshua, has come under a severe attack over his claim that the collapse of the uncompleted Guest House, owned by his church, was bombed by a Boko Haram aircraft.
Joshua had linked linked the collapse of an uncompleted Guest House to a “strange aircraft” which he said hovered around the building before its collapse.
Briefing journalists on the incident on Saturday, the pastor played a CCTV footage of a flying aircraft to back his claim.
In the footage, a plane was seen flying over the collapsed guest
house at four different times on Friday morning — 11: 30 a.m, 11: 43 a.m, 11:45 a.m and 11: 54 a.m. The building collapsed at 12:44 p.m Friday afternoon.
In his speech, Joshua insisted the aircraft, which flew past almost
The pastor said he was the target of the attack.
However, findings made by The ELITES, revealed that some Nigerians have refused to buy Joshua's claim.
Reacting to Joshua's claim, former Political Editor of Punch, Wale Adedayo, threw some thought-provoking posers at Joshua's claim. Adedayo, who served as the Chief Press Secretary during Otunb Gbenga Daniel's tenure, posted the six-point poser on his Facebook page,

A few journalists have even tried to assist him with stories alluding to the fact of a missing NAF Jet in the North-East as proof of the 'Man of God's' claims.
Some issues:
1. From the video footage provided by the church, yes, there was an aircraft that passed over the building a few times. But contrary to what we are being made to believe, it was not a fighter jet. It was a helicopter. So, the link with the missing NAF fighter jet does not exist except in the keske imagination of some reporters.

3. There was no collapse from the top. It came from the bottom. That was a structural matter.
4. So, the Lagos State Government should quickly step up its investigation into the matter. Was there an approval for additional floors to that building?
5. Who approved the additional floors? On what basis was the approval done? Were recommendations following such approvals followed?
6. These are the questions we should be seeking answers to among others, not this 419 Boko Haram attacked my church approach that Joshua is trying to hoodwink us with.
Corroborating Adedayo's submission, advertising guru, Lolu Akinwunmi took Joshua to the gutters and rubbished his claim, on his Facebook page. Akinwunmi, the Group Managing Director of Prima Garnet and former Chairman of Advertising Practitioners' Council of Nigeria, APCON, didn't spare Joshua in his scathing post, titled "Will Someone Please Tell TB Joshua To Shut Up?"
According to Akinwunmi, "Will someone please tell the illiterate
