THE POMP AND PANACHE THAT CHARACTERISE TOYIN SARAKI'S 50TH BIRTHDAY PARTY IN LONDON











Former governor of Kwara State, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki is a man that is well loved and adored by many and not a few dignitaries endeavoured to be part of the 50th birthday celebration of his beautiful wife, Toyin Saraki (née Ojora). Those in attendance at the party. unhesitatingly adjudge it a “semi-state” occasion.  By 7p.m. to be precise, the venue, Victoria and Albert Musuem, London, has worn a picturesque of grandeur and glamour. 
The champagne cocktail proceeded smoothly and





very calmly as it was proficiently convened with commendable civility and grace. Adorned in the most exquisite finery, the carefully selected guests sauntered into the venue and the waiting arms of very pretty ushers who led them to their appointed seats smilingly.

At the russet-radiant red-carpet event, every guest was treated like a star. Asides the assorted liquor, beer and fruit juices, the guests were also treated to delicious meals and dessert that sufficiently wet their palates and sated them. At the background, a soulful medley of very old and contemporary music wafted from well-appointed woofers causing the guests to sway, shuffle and waltz as much as the music moved them and transported them to euphoric cusps. Femi Otedola’s daughter, Ifeoluwa Florence, aka DJ Cuppy, was also on stage to thrill the guests to a rich repertoire of timeless classics. And adding an unusual pep to the event were, two notable contemporary artistes, Neyo, the American singer and Wizkid; the duo got the guests moving to the evergreen hits from their most popular delightful songs.
The celebrant, Toyin Ojora Saraki, cutting a picture of a regal queen of infinite graces, held the hall spellbound with her charm. The hall listed and creaked at the eaves for her; so much so that every guest present at the event craned their necks to catch glimpses of the woman whose femininity and charm invokes the best from her husband, who has grown to become a formidable titan within Nigerian political clan. 
Toyin was the cynosure of all eyes at the event. The guests were captivated by her élan as she strutted from one end of the party to another. Her lovely gold outfit was a subject of discourse among high society stalwarts who are always abreast with trendy developments in the fashion circuit. She simply enchanted the venue of the event like the fabled Cleopatra charming the Greek metropolis. It was her day!
But if Toyin was gorgeous, her mother, Erelu Oodua, Ojuolape Ojora was simply stunning. Call her inspirational if you like. The breathtaking beauty and epitome of grace came to honour her darling daughter and catch a kick of the merriment. She was undoubtedly an older and graciously wrought model of the exquisiteness her daughter signified. Looking dainty in her beautiful attire that trimmed years off her age, she exuded poise and had fun in bountiful doses, infectiously and quite effortlessly.

Also at the party, there was never a dull moment. Drop-dead-gorgeous ladies beautified the gathering, beaming seductively and dressed to the nines. Foremost businessmen, industry titans and politicians were equally in attendance in large number and they were characteristically at their elements. Moved by the irresistible charm and harmony of the scene, the guests in response, shuffled and waltzed in abandon as much as the music moved them and the Sarakis tickled them with unrivalled delight.

 Prominent people at the event included the Speaker, Honourable Aminu Waziri Tambuwwal, Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun and wife, Funso, Gov. Rotimi Amaechi and wife, Gov. Abdufattah Ahmed and wife, Omolewa, Governor Adam Oshiomole and fiancé, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chief Emeka Anyaoku and wife, Bunmi, Gilbert and Ronald Chagoury, Supo and Gbemi Sasore, Ekua Abudu, Caroline Olaseinde, Nana Otedola, Jide Coker, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Wale Tinubu and wife, Bola, Senator Magnus Abe, Segun Agbaje, Yinka Ojora, Adejare Adegbenro, Alhaji Baraje, Tunde Morakinyo, Aig Imoukhuede, and a host of senators and top politicians.
