Famous society lady, Folake St.Mathew Daniel hosted the burial ceremony of her mother Olori Beatrice Omosigho Amoke Aderemi (née Iyamu) last Friday, 3 October at Ile-Ife, Osun State.
The funeral service was held at the family church, St. Peter's Anglican Church, Iremo, Ile-Ife. This was then followed by a reception at Glass House, Iremo, Ile-Ife.
The deceased, who died at the age of 79, was the wife of Prince Adedapo Morounfolu Aderemi, the first son and second child of the late Oba Adesoji Aderemi, the former Ooni of Ife and his wife, the late Princess Ileladewa Olubuse-Aderemi. Prince Aderemi was a prominent lawyer, who lived in Lagos until his death on 15th October, 1963,at the age of 39.
Olori Aderemi is survived by six children- Gboyega Aderemi, Folake St. Mathew-Daniel, Rogba Aderemi, Kofoworola Aderemi, Jaiye Aderemi and Lekan Aderemi and many grand children.
Folake St. Mathew Daniel is one of the most admired female personalities in the society. She is blessed with a gait and grace, which most women will aspire to have. A lawyer by training, Folake is an achiever in her own right. She holds sway as an Executive Director (Legal Affairs) at the Nigeria Air Space Management Agency, NAMA.
