TIFFANY AMBER, DIAMOND BANK PRESENT WOMEN OF VISION

To mark 15 years of designing and producing timeless ready-to-wear clothing and paving the way for the growing Nigerian fashion industry, Folake Coker’s Tiffany Amber brand has teamed up with Diamond Bank to present 15 women who have made an impact in their careers and become a source of inspiration to other women.

The celebrations, which kicked off with the unveiling of the Tiffany Amber Meet Nigeria’s Women of Vision campaign on Sunday, 12 October in Lagos, coincided with the International Day of the Girl Child.

It features 15 women between the ages of 18-60, has a strong support of Diamond Woman, an initiative by Diamond Bank

designed for women, by women, to provide women with support to help them achieve their aspirations.


The women of vision cut across fashion, entertainment, social, entrepreneur and academia. They are Omoyemi Akerele, founder and artistic director of Style House Files and Lagos Fashion and Design Week; Omotola Jolade Ekeinde, a multiple award winning actress and singer; Adesuwa Onyenokwe, broadcast journalism and publisher; Uche Majekodunmi, owner of leading event and set design company, Newton & David; and Oluchi Orlandi, African fashion icon and model.

Others are Eku Edewor, actress and television personality; Peju Alatise, actress, architect and author; Ifeyinwa Ighodalo, a founding member and currently on the Board of Trustees of Women in Management, Business & Public Service (WIMBIZ); Dr. Ola Orekunrin, medical doctor, a trainee helicopter pilot and founder of West Africa’s first indigenous air ambulance service, the Flying Doctors Nigeria; and Maryam Augie, Executive Director, Ayahay Foundation.

Also on board as women of vision are Jumoke Oduwole, a professor with the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law, University of Lagos and a member of the University’s Senate; Funke Opeke, founder and CEO of Main One; Uche Pedro, Managing Director and Creative Director, BellaNaija.com; Ifeoluwa Florence Otedola better known as DJ Cuppy, a music deejay and daughter of billionare Femi Otedola; and Adenike Ogunlesi, founder, Ruff ‘n’ Tumble.

In a chat with the media, Coker said each of these great women will take up a girl, mentor and guide them to achieve their ambition in life.
