BILL COSBY FINALLY SPEAKS ON RAPE ALLEGATION- WIFE STOOD BY HIM THROUGH EVERYTHING

Bill Cosby and his wife, Camille Hanks were on NPR's Weekend Edition discussing their collection of African art when host Scott Simon asked him to respond to claims that he sexually assaulted several women. Bill Cosby remained silentand according to the host, Bill Cosby shook his head se veral times without saying a word.

Now Bill Cosby has issued a statement through his lawyer on the allegations.

"Over the last several weeks, decade-old, discredited allegations against Mr. Cosby have resurfaced. The fact that they are being repeated does not make them true. Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment. He would like to thank all his fans for the outpouring of support and assure them that, at age 77, he is doing his best work. There will be no further statement from Mr. Cosby or any of his representatives."

Cosby and his wife Camille have been married for 50 years, long before all the stories of sexual abuse and rape started to surface between the 1970s and 2000s. The last accusation was settled out of court by Bill Cosby in 2006. His wife Camille has stood by him through it all.

Camille is reportedly a very private person and rarely gives interviews, choosing to remain in the backround building herself and her children.

Camille Cosby stood by her husband when it came out that he had an affair in the 70’s, and said in a statement released by her husband’s publicist in 1997;

“All old personal negative issues between Bill and me were resolved years ago. We are a united couple. What occurred 23 years ago is not important to me except for the current issue of extortion.”

At that time, Bill Cosby had been in a TV interview where he admitted to an affair in the 70s that may have led to him fathering a 22-year-old woman who he said had been extorting him for millions to keep the news quiet.
