Teslim Folarin, that he was responsible for the violence that marred the State between 2007 and 2010 in the State, adding that Sen. Folarin was known for fraud

Sen. Folarin had on Monday taken to the social media to lambast those who circulated his pictures on social media, describing them as “disgruntled politicians who refuse to accept my emergence as the PDP Guber candidate for the 2015 elections”. He particularly said that the “Alao Akala government used to incarcerate me without a shred of evidence and charge”.

Salako Eleweomo in the build up to the 2011 general election was said to have been circulated on the social media to disparage his personality.

But Otunba Alao-Akala, reacting through the director of public affairs of Team Alao-Akala, his campaign outfit, Mr. Oludare Ogunlana said that everything about the former senate leader is synonymous with lies, adding that Folarin has never won a free and fair contest since he joined partisan politics over a decade ago.

Alleging that all the educational certificates held by Sen. Folarin were fake, Mr. Ogunlana said that everybody knows who was held responsible for the killing of Lateef Salako Eleweomo and there is no how the names of the former governor can be included because as chief security officer of the State, he did everything possible to maintain peace and secuirty.

He revealed that if not for Otunba Alao-Akala who bowed to several pleas from well-meaning individuals and citizens and facilitated Sen. Folarin’s release from detention, he would have rotten in jail.

He added that people like Sen. Folarin had lost their moral right to say or stand for anything in the society, wondering if the High Chief has shame again.

He continued: “if not Baba Adedibu who rescued him from his misfortune as a newspaper vendor abroad and gave him a Senatorial ticket on a platter of gold when he wanted House of Assembly ticket, people like Folarin would not have ever moved closer to the corridor of power.

“The same senate leadership position which the late strongman of Kwara politics, Dr. Olusola Saraki used to develop his State was what Folarin used to bring shame to his constituents. No decent individual is proud to be associated with him as his two-term in

“We wonder where the same Teslim Folarin who could not reply

the barrage of violent allegations levelled against him by the present administration got the courage to say that the Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala’s administration was chaotic. It is purely insensible; it can only come out of an intellectually malnourished brain.

“How can an administratively-empty person whose knack for violence is second to none aspire to govern a State like Oyo? It is impossible. Sen. Folarin, in every sense, lacks the moral justification to accuse Otunba Alao-Akala who footprints are still

standing the test of time. Sen. Folarin cannot point to what he did for his constituents despite the fact that he is the only person in history to have represented a senatorial district in Oyo State back to back and at a very tender age of 38.  Even, Ibadan where he intends to be Olubadan did not deserve anything as achievement from Ibadan. If wishes were horses, beggars would ride. Rather than for him to be apologising for his 8 wasteful years, Sen. Folarin wants to be governor, forgetting that he has eaten his cake and cannot have it again”.

Mr. Ogunlana said that if truly Folarin was the winner of the PDP gubernatorial primary, why has it not celebrated it? Why has been no jubilation till now?

He urged the people of the State to be wary of those whose sole aim is to corner the collective resource of the State for personal use, boasting that LP will form the next government in the State.
