One of the President's aides
took obsequiousness to another level; he just likened GEJ to Jesus Christ. How?
The current burden carried by President Jonathan, can in his words, be likened
to the same burdens Jesus carried, the sins of mankind, at the time of His
death. What sacrilegious nonsense is this? What in heaven's name will people
not do to keep their jobs? Is this what it now takes to manage a Presidential
brand?
Now I am sure that Dr. Doyin
Okupe should have remained in his ENT practice. Plus obviously he has not been
inside a church in a loooooong time, and neither has he had any fellowship with
his Bible in ages. Otherwise he would not casually and irreverently liken what
Jesus went through to what President Jonathan is going through. Sycophancy we
understand; but what do you call something like this? Honestly, our President
does not need "image makers" like this. How can a man responsible for
taking care of the President's image do so much to slur the same image?????
People close to President
Jonathan should first alert him, then seriously warn him; he should not believe
drips like this. He needs real people who will sit with him and truly analyse
the legion of challenges this nation faces and how he can go about sorting them
out. Sometimes such opinions may be painful, but he should analyse the truth
content and if possible dialogue with such people. At the end of the day, the
ultimate winner must be brand Nigeria and its people.
And by the way, I hope Okupe
has prepared President Jonathan's mind for the pains and shame of crucifixion
and Golgotha?
