SHOCKING: OBAT OIL CHAIRMAN, OBA OBATERU AKINRUNTAN HIJACKS ELECTION MATERIALS IN ONDO

The Chairman of Obat Group of companies and the Olugbo of Ugbo, Okoro Ajiga 1' Oba Fredercik Obateru Akinruntan, has been accused of hijacking the materials for the governorship and House of Assembly elections in the state. The allegation was levelled by the All Progressives Congress in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed. 
Akinruntan, who was installed as the new Olugbo by Governor Segun Mimiko in December 2009, was alleged to have hijacked the materials in Ilaje Local Government Area. He allegedly did it in collusion with the Peoples Democratic Party. His son, Yomi is a candidate of the PDP for the House of Assembly.
