On Tuesday, January 3, 2017,  the engagement and traditional wedding ceremony between Prince Adedamilotun Aderemi and Funlola Odutola took place in Lagos. The event was held at The Classique Events Place, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos.
The groom is the son of Prince Adedamola Aderemi, a multi-jurisdictional barrister practicing both in the United Kingdom and with a thriving practice in Nigeria. He is a grandson of late Ooni of Ife, Sir Adesoji Aderemi who reigned between 1930 to 1980. His father, late Justice Aderoju Aderemi of the Oyo and Osun High Courts. His mother, Princess Funmilayo Adegbenro, is the daughter of the former Western Region, Chief D.S. Adegbenro.
Also, the groom's mother, Princess Olukemi Aderemi is the daughter of Professor Kayode Oyediran, Political Scientist and the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, and Mrs Tola Oyediran, the granddaughter of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Mama HID Awolowo.
The classy wedding ceremony was planned and co-ordinated by Princess Adenrele Sijuwade-Fayose .
