Globacom chairman, Dr. Michael Agbolade Ishola Adenuga Jr, GCON, GSC, is whooping for joy, as he prepares to host a classy and exclusive wedding ceremony for his first child. The wedding ceremony is between Oyindamola Eunice Adenuga and Adeolu Abayomi Olufeko.

Dr Adenuga's joy is equally shared by Adefolake Emilia Adenuga ( née Marquis), his first wife and mother of his five eldest children - Oyindamola, Jide, Paddy, Bella and Eniola. 

The  handsome groom, Adeolu Abayomi, who tuned 39 last January, is the son of Late Prince Adewunmi Abayomi and Mrs Olubola Olufunmilayo Samuel-Olufeko. The couple shares the same native home of Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State. 


The two-fold wedding ceremony kicked off yesterday, Thursday, 6 July, a day after Oyindamola's 39th birthday, with an engagement ceremony. This was held at the Banana Island residence of the bride's father. The colour dictate of the day was Emerald Green on royal blue lace. The bride dazzled in a royal blue Komole styled aso-oke, designed by Deola Sagoe. This outfit was complemented with a set of eye-popping diamond stoned-saphire jewelry. 
The very exclusive and strict event was graced by just a hundred guests. On the bandstand to entertain the guests was King Sunny Ade, while Tunde Adewale, Tee-A, compared the programmes.  The aso-ebi for the entire wedding ceremony was supplied by Hajia Bisoye Usman of Oyeog Fabrics.

The second leg of the wedding is slated to hold tomorrow, Saturday, 8 July, 2017, at the Adenugas' home in Banana Island. The elderly female guests are expected to adorn a red and gold gele on red lace, while the male guests will go for red cap.

Oyin is a chip off old block. Just like her father, she has a passion for excellence. Presently, Oyin runs Imaginative Buying Services, a company that gives Nigerians opportunity to acquire products from the United States of America. 

Intelligent and humble best describe Oyin, who is one of the most well-mannered silver spoon kids in the society. Being the first progeny of her father, Oyin is entrusted with a deep sense of responsibility and commitment towards her loved ones and the society at large. And she has not been found wanting in this regard. Still single and in her late 30's, Oyin desires to settle down in the immediate future and starts her own family. 


Oyin graduated from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at 19. She worked with Equatorial Trust Bank as a senior Manager and later worked with Consolidated Oil as an Executive Director. While she was in college, Oyin was the Public Relations Officer for the African Students Association. She organized various fashion shows and also the African Market Day. Besides her coordinating events, she also took some fashion courses in Fashion Retailing, Fashion Textiles and History of Fashion to perfect her talent. Oyin wanted to find a way to utilize these talents and skills. She returned to the United States to further her studies and to discover her true path. 




Through contemplation and prayer followed by extensive planning and research, she created and launched Imaginative Buying Services, LLC. The company makes purchases on behalf of its clients and ships the products to them in Nigeria. It offers two different kinds of services. The first is concierge shopping which is what it specializes in.  This service offers clients assistance in researching for whatever item that they need.  The second service is custom purchases; this service pertains to customers that know exactly what they want and don’t need the outfit to do any research for them. They just want certain items to be purchased for them and have it shipped to Nigeria.
