PHOTO NEWS: Hajiya Maryam Mairo Aminu Tambuwal At The Grand Opening of WARP In Seoul, South Korea




The event which featured a lot of activities, depicting peace, was very rich in culture and colorful.
The highlight of the event included a peace parade, sounding of the peace drum, a peace award ceremony, and a lot of other activities and performances by different youth and women groups from across the world.
The Chairman of HWPL kicked started the event with a commemorative speech, followed by the IWPG Chairwoman, who reviewed the progress report. Congratulatory remarks were also delivered by
-His Excellency the former president of Tunisia, Mancef Marzouki,
-His Excellency Ivo Josipovic, former president of Croatia,
-H.E Stanislaw, former president of Belarus,
Minister of Justice of the Republic of Zambia,
Former president of Kosovo, His Excellency, Atifete Jajaga, among others.
The interfaith platform gave room for all persons of chosen faith across the globe to concede to the supreme message of peace .
Impressively, many Spiritual leaders and bodies , NGO's Educationist, Policy makers , Future assured team of Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari and some government officials from across Nigeria were in attendance and had such a colorful display of the peace message.
During the remarks , mention of Nigeria, Sudan , Burma , Middle East and several troubled regions were highlighted and the efforts being made through policy agitation to curb uprisings that could lead to war and have led to war in the past .
Conclusively,
''One of the most notable achievements of the bodies is the Declaration of cessation of war which was proclaimed in March 2016!
The declaration of peace and cessation of war is unprecedented in its aim to cease all wars and root out even the causes of war . Glaringly, international Law experts , Former heads of states and present heads of states around the world
Acknowledge that this declaration is a solution to continuing wars of Humanity .''
