OPRAL WINFREY AND FOLORUNSO ALAKIJA ARE NOW CLOSE FRIENDS




Come this Wednesday, January 29, Opral Winfrey will be 60. The US chat show queen and billionaire is planning to host a star-studded party in Santa Barbara, with invitations ready to go out to the Obamas, Beyonce, Julia Roberts, Tom Cruise and many others. The celebrity-filled party is slated to hold on January 29, with performances by Beyonce and Tina Turner. Meanwhile, there is so much fear that Winfrey might switch gears, going from planning a massive bash to wanting a low-key evening with her best friend, Gayle King and her longtime partner, Stedman Graham.
Winfrey, who is known to be a close friend to many celebrities
around the world, has found an ally in Folorunso Alakija, the Nigerian born oil baroness. The two women established a bond o friendship during the last Christmas season. Sources disclosed to The ELITES that the two FORBES’ listed billionaires had an extensive conversation over the phone. The duo shared their childhood experiences and compared notes on the challenges of being global celebrities. Needless to say, that they have been exchanging phone calls since then. Oprah has promised to feature Alakija in her show this year. Alakija has also extended an invitation of visit to her new friend.
