TFC BOSS RECUPERATES IN THE US

Four months after losing her only child, Pamela Olayinka Adedayo  is still in a state of palpable shock. She is reported to be acting as if the tragic event was a bad dream she would wake up from.  It will be recalled that Olubunmi Omotayo Adetokunbo, the only child of Olayinka and Adekunle Adedayo, the proprietors of popular eatery, Tastee Fried Chicken, TFC, died on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, in Pretoria, South Africa, following complications from pneumonia. He was aged 36.
Olubunmi joined the family business in 2002, after the completion of his university education in the United States. He started out as the Manager, Special Duties and rose to the position of the Executive Director of De Tastee Group. During his tenure as the Executive Director, the company grew in leaps and bounds in terms of product innovation, brand recognition, branch expansion and business process re-engineering.
A funeral service was held in Olubunmi's honour at Our Saviour’s Church, Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos, on Thursday, October 3, 2013. His remains were interred at Vaults & Gardens, Ikoyi.
After the burial ceremony, Adedayo and her husband flew to the United States to recuperate. The were accompanied by their daughter-in-law and their two grandchildren. A close family source disclosed to The ELITES that Yinka Adedayo had intended to return to Nigeria last December. But she had a change of mind and decided to stay back for a while.
