On Saturday 5th April 2014, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, vice chairman, Senate Committee on Labour, Employment and Productivity and member of the Committee on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), was honoured in London. The ceremony was held at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel in London, and organized by the Association of Nigerian Academics in the UK (ANAUK). Oluremi Tinubu, who represents Lagos Central Senatorial District, was recognized as an outstanding Nigerian, whose various initiatives have contributed greatly to education, youth development and empowerment in Nigeria.
