A couple of weeks back, Mary Assumpta, the beautiful wife of auto magnate and Chairman of Ineh Mic Motors, Chief Mike Inegbese clocked 50. The famous society lady marked her birthday celebration, together with her twin sister, Martha. The party was held at the Inegbeses’ home in Victoria Island. The grand reception was preceded by a Thanksgiving Service, held at the Church of Assumption, Ikoyi.
Chief Inegbese, who is the Prime Minister
of Opoji and the Atunwase of Lagos, had planned to make the 50th
birthday celebration of his wife a boat cruise affair. He even went as far as
sending out invitations, via mails, detailing out the itinerary of the boat
cruise.The cruise was planned in such a way that the boat would berth at a cosy
private beach with select guests on board, enjoying the soothing and romantic
waves of the beach. Thereafter, the guests would be flown to the United States
of America for an A-class party, where the auto magnate would treat his guests
to the finest hospitality. However, that was not to be. The ELITES gathered that
Chief Inegbese and his wife decided to suspend the idea of the boat cruise when
they sensed that the mood in the society was not in sync with a boat cruise
tour. So, they opted for a low-key celebration, which turned out to be classy
all the same.
