Award winning Nigerian actor and movie director, Kunle Afolayan, on Thursday, July 31, 2014 drew eminent personalities, movie buffs and celebs to the Agip Recital Hall of the Muson Centre, Onikan,Lagos for the presentation of the book, Auteuring Nollywood: Critical Perspectives On The Figurine, edited by his elder brother, Dr. Adeshina Afolayan of the Department of Philosophy, University of Ibadan. The book reviewed by Mr. Ikechukwu Obiaya, Director of Nollywood Study Centre, Pan-African University, Lagos. The book espouses the life and creative work of the filmmaker as one of the leading light in the Nigerian film industry film industry. The presentation was put together by Relentless Media. The film, Figurine depicts the myth surrounding the history of 'Araromire' a clan whose fate of ups and downs is determined by the figurine.
