in a highbrow hospital in the United States. Since the news of the baby’s arrival broke out yesterday, close friends and family members of the couple have been thrown into a joyous mood.

Rhoda's daughter is Tayo’s fifth child. He has already fathered four children from three ladies-a daughter, Morenike from Blessing Egbarin, a daughter, Atinuke from Nike Shittu and a son and a daughter from Kehinde Ayoku. 

 On her own part, the new baby is Rhoda's second child. Her first daughter, Osayamen, is an undergraduate at Howard University, in the United States. A lawyer by training, Rhoda has remained a constant fixture in Tayo Alakiu's life for over 13 years. The two met in 2001, at the wedding ceremony of Ronke Adetona Dejonwo, the daughter of the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona. It was love at first sight for the duo, and they have remained inseparable ever since then. 
 Rhoda accompanies Tayo to everywhere. She has become such a permanent fixture in Alakiu’s life that most people have even begun to regard her as his official wife.

Sources disclosed to The ELITES that Rhoda kept her pregnancy from the public and went low-profile. She left for the United States during hrs second trimester. Invariably, only very few close friends were aware of her pregnancy. It was

gathered that most people actually lived under the illusion that Rhoda was no longer in the picture, as regards her affair with Alakiu. 

It would be recalled that a few months ago, the society became agog with the news of the break-up between Alakiu and Rhoda. The couple was alleged to have ended their affair and gone their separate ways. It was shortly after this news broke out that Rhoda reportedly travelled abroad, ostensibly to take a respite. But unknown to most people the Benin, Edo a State born lady had already taken in when the rumour of her crashed affair with Alakiu became a much discussed subject within the society. A close source disclosed that the couple decided to resort to the yarn of an alleged break-up, so as to avoid the noise the pregnancy would have attracted. 

Meanwhile, since the news of the arrival of Rhoda's broke out, Alakiu and his close friends have thrown themselves into wild jubilation. And it is also gathered that Alakiu is planning to host a big bash to herald the arrival of his fifth child. And he is also busy, savouring the bundle of joy, given him by Rhoda, whom most people described as being his true love.
