LAGOS GUBER ASPIRANT, AKINWUNMI AMBODE HOSTS MEGA PARTY FOR MOTHER-IN-LAW'S BURIAL IN EPE

Akinwunmi Ambode

- To Score A Political Point About His Source of Origin

In what promises to be a mega socio-political gathering, Lagos gubernatorial aspirant, Akinwunmi Ambode, will host a burial party in honour of his mother-in-law in Epe town today. Ambode's mother-in-law, Madam Comfort Olufunmilayo Odukomaya (née Onabanjo) died on August 25, 2014. She was aged 94.
The funeral arrangement for Mama Odukomaya kicked off yesterday, Friday, 10 October with  a Christian Wake-keep, which took place at Pobo Primary School. Poka, Epe. The funeral service holds today, Saturday, 11 October at The First African Church Mission, St David Parish, Poka, Epe. This will then be followed by a reception at Pobo Primary School, Poka, Epe. The dress code for the party is fuchsia pink with the Ankara aso- ebi.

Sources disclosed to The ELITES that Ambode, who is one of the aspirants jostling for the gubernatorial ticket on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, plans to score some political points with the burial party of his mother-in-law. It is gathered that Ambode, whose political aspiration has been beset with doubt over his real place of origin, wants to prove to his traducers that he is a "born-bred" native of Epe town.
