EXCLUSIVE: Zahra Buhari -Ahmed Indimi Wedding: The Intrigues and Permutations That Crystalised Into Marriage

How Zahra’s Most Celebrated Suitor, Governor Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari of Zamfara State Lost Out, Becomes Heartbroken
…How Ahmed Indimi’s Proposal To Mamman Dauda’s Daughter Was Rejected

All is now set for the grand wedding ceremony between Zahra, the daughter of President Mohammadu and Aisha Buhari and Ahmed, son to Maiduguri billionaire businessman, Mohammed Indimi.
The wedding Fatiha, which has been slated for Friday, 2nd of December, 2016 is expected to attract prominent dignitaries across the country.
However, President Buhari is reported to have expressed his concern that the event should not be blown out of proportion as he had shown modesty in the recent wedding of one of his daughters. However, sources disclosed that the president’s decision to have a low-key wedding for his daughter, has been sparking some grumblings in Aso Villa, as some people have looked forward to making some gains during the wedding.
One other issue which is however said to have generated the hush hush wedding celebration is the fact that a Northern Governor and indeed the Chairman of the Governors Forum, Governor Abdul’aziz Abubakar Yari of Zamfara state had asked for the young girl’s hand in marriage and from our very reliable source, he was not even informed that he had lost out until a date was picked for the Fatiha.
Meanwhile, for Ahmed, he also had sought succour somewhere else. According to reports, he was said to have sought the hand of one of the daughters of Mamman Daura in marriage but was rebuffed only for him to up his game and reach for someone more highly connected to the corridors of power.
Governor Yari...heartbroken
Even though the First family might want to look the other way when people raise other motives other than pure love as the basis for the wedding, many Nigerians would always see it as a union engineered by parents with little or no inputs from their children.
Since last year, when her father was elected into office, Zahra has shown that she is humane and not vain. This is in contrast to her would-be-husband, who is known to be slightly circumspect
Zahra, the beauty and brain is a graduate of micro biology from the University of Surrey in England and also the ambassador for the SCAF, a foundation set on the initiative to arrest and minimize the case of sickle cell around the nation.
