On Friday, 18 November, 2016, all roads led to Oraifite, Anambra State, as a colourful crowd of dignitaries to commiserate with Chief Sir Emeka Offor over the death of his father, late Chief Benneth O. Offor (Nnakaibeya) who died at the age of 88. 
 The billionaire businessman could not hold back his tears as he wept profusely at his father's grave side.

Notable among the top dignitaries, who attended the burial ceremony were Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, Honourable Yakubu Dogara, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, Dr Willie Obiano (who was ably represented by his deputy, Dr Nkem Okeke, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Honourable Tony Nwoye, Sir Emma Bishop Okonkwo, Dr Alex Otti, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, Dr Victor Umeh, among many others.
