Recently, Ermenegildo Zegna, an Italian menswear luxury brand launched its first West African flagship store in Lagos. To celebrate the store opening, Tope Edu, the franchise director of the brand, treated a select crowd to a flow of champagne and hors d'hourves. The flagship is situated on 175 Akin Adesola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. It is dedicated to the fine clientele that have loved and appreciated the Ermenegildo Zegna brand through the years. The store was designed by Studio Berreta and implemented by Tope Edu Designs. The design and layout of the store incorporates rich embroidery, pin-perfect displays and still-life photos.
Tope Edu is the younger sister of Senators Bukola Saraki and Gbemisola Saraki-Fowora, and she is married to Koye Edu, the son of the late Chief S.L. Edu. Tope is the founder, lead interior designer at Topeedu Designs. Her unrivaled personal and seamless service is characterized by functional designs with attention to detail. She holds a Second Class Upper degree and a Masters degree in Law. After having worked for several years at Aluko and Oyebode, she decided to follow her passion for Interior Design and studied at the prestigious Chelsea College of Arts and Design.
