The year 2013 ended on a sad note for Yinka Taiga, the famous Lagos society lady, and cast a bout of pain on her. Her pain is occasioned by the death of her mother, Mrs. Olufunmilayo Florence Ogunleye, who passed away on Monday, 23 December. Yinka, who is the only child of her mother, runs a thriving kiddies store in Mega Plaza, Victoria Island. Although she is distraught over the death of her mother, the 50 year old lady is determined to give her a befitting burial. The beautiful mother of a set of quadruplet is being ably assisted by her husband, Olorogun Moses Taiga and her close friends. The funeral arrangement for Mama Ogunleye kicked of on Monday, 30 December, with a Service of Songs. This took place at Waterview Estate. Admiralty Road, off Admiralty Way, Lekki. The colour code of the day was yellow. The Christian Wake-keeping will hold on Thursday, 2 January 2014, at Wesley Methodist Cathedral, Akesan Road, Iperu-Remo, Ogun State. The colour dictate for this section is purple. The burial programme will climax on Friday, 3 December, with a funeral service. This will take place at the Wesley Methodist Cathedral, Akesan Road, Iperu-Remo. This will be followed by a reception at the Sir Kessington Adebutu Event Centre, Kessington Adebutu Way, Ilisan Road, Iperu-Remo.
