Funmi will no doubt certainly miss her father, because he was her only parent ever since she lost her mother when she was 19. A lawyer by training, Funmi is one of the most vibrant female politicians in Nigeria. She has been a member of Lagos House of Assembly since 2003. In the 5th session (2007-2011) of the Lagos House of Assembly, she became the Deputy Speaker. Presently, she is the chairman of the House Committee on Finance, a position that made her one of the top ranking members of the legislative body. The beautiful mother of four is married to Kayode Tejuosho, the second son of Oba Adedapo Tejuoso, the Osile of Egba, Oke-Ona. Presently, she is pursuing her Ph.D in Law, at the University of Lagos. Interestingly, the thesis for her Ph.D is on Domestic Violence Law, and this was why she sponsored the Bill on the same subject on the floor of the assembly. This has since become a law in Lagos State.
