JUSTICE ERI BOWS OUT AS BOZIMO TAKES OVER AT NJI







The Board of Governors of the National Judicial Institute has appointed Justice Rosaline Bozimo (Rtd), as its administrator.Justice Bozimo is a former Chief Judge of Delta State.The NJI board, under the chairmanship of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mariam Aloma Mukhtar, announced Justice Bozimo’s appointment at its meeting which held on Monday. This was contained in a statement by the CJN’s media aide, Ahuraka Isah, on Monday. Justice Bozimo will take over from Honourable Justice Umaru Eri (Rtd), whose tenure as the Administrator of the NJI will end on August1. Bozimo’s appointment will end in three years. The retired judge, who was born on January 1, 1946, had retired as the Chief Judge of Delta State on January 1, 2011.
She hails from Udu Local Government Area of Delta state.

She was admitted to the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in September 1970 where she obtained her Law degree in 1973. She was called to Bar in 1974.

She was appointed a Magistrate in the defunct Bendel State in December 1983 and was later appointed as a Judge of the Delta state High Court in October 1991 and as the Chief Judge of the Delta state in March 20 2003.
