The General Overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi has described Governor Rauf Aregbesola, of the State of Osun, as a man who has demonstrated exemplary leadership with his disposition to all religion creeds and massive infrastructural development in the state. He said the attitude of the governor has not suggested any form of favouritsm to any religion in his policies and programme.

Kumuyi made the statement while addressing journalists during a courtesy visit to Aregbesola at the State House, Osogbo. Kumuyi expressed his gratitude to God for the peaceful conduct of the August 9 Governorship Election in the state and the emergence of Aregbesola for second term, and urged the governor to double his efforts during the second term. According to Kumuyi, "The vote of the state speaks loudly that one good term deserves another. Many good things have happened in the first term and I believe better things are going to happen in this second term. Looking round, I have seen progress that was recorded in the first term. No matter what you have done, there will be people who would say you could have done it this way or that way. But we really thank God that good things have happened; we are looking forward to seeing better things happen.

Responding, Governor Aregbesola appreciated the Deeper Life man of God for bringing the crusade to Osun saying the crusade will definitely manifest spiritually in his administration and the life of the people of the state.

Aregbesola said Osun is blessed with the leading lights in Christendom with Pastor Kumuyi, being one of them, and which according to him, informs the state government's decision to build interdenominational convention ground for revivals and crusades.

He said his administration is determined to do better during his second term and tasked Kumuyi to pray for the success of his administration.

The Osun governor also tasked the Clergyman to pray against the Ebola virus which is ravaging some countries in West Africa.
