On Saturday, August 30, 2014, the wedding ceremony between Yeside Ajoke and Olumide Akintayo was held in Lagos. The bride, Yeside is the first daughter of Architect Olanrewaju Olatokunbo Olayinka and the late Mrs. Olufunmilayo Adunni Olayinka, the former deputy-Governor of Ekiti State. The groom, Olumide is the son of Professor Babatunde and Mrs Eniola Olayinka Agbola.
The wedding ceremony took place at the Anglican Church of the Ascension, Omodara Street, Opebi. This was then followed by a grand reception at The Haven Events Center, OBA Akinjobi Way, GRA, Ikeja Lagos. The colour code for the event was coral.
The Ekiti State governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi and his wife, Bisi, his deputy- governor, Professor Modupe Adelabu and Lagos deputy-governor, Adejoke Adefulire played chief hosts during the wedding ceremony, that attracted a colourful crowd of prominent dignitaries.
