Come Saturday, November 8, the fifth coronation anniversary of Oba Frederick Enitiolorunda Obateru Akinruntan, the Olugbo of Ugbo, Okoro Ajiga 1, will be taking place in Ondo State. The event promises to register the attendance of many prominent Nigerians,
and they will be treated to a classy reception by the oil billionaire.
Oba Akinruntan, the
chairman of Obat Group of companies, ascended the throne following the sack of
Adebanjo Mafimisebi, the former Olugbo.
He was installed as
the new Olugbo by Governor Segun Mimiko in December 2009. Oba Akinruntan is
married to Oloori Iyabode Akinruntan, a princess from the Momoh royal family of
Ikare Akoko, Ondo State. Their marriage is blessed with many children and grandchildren.
