The truth is that the Mantu list of delegates which were prepared by Andy Uba, Uche Ekwunife and Stella Odua together with the now infamous Anambra PDP Caretaker committee which was prepared at Grand Hotel Asaba instead of the advertised venues for PDP Ward delegates elections on 1st November 2014 was nullified by Federal High Court Abuja in its final judgment of Friday 5/12/2014” – stated Honorable Chuma Nzeribe regarding the recent stalemate at the Anambra south senatorial district primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP].

Honorable Nzeribe who lost to Senator Uba in the 2011 senatorial race for the southern district of Anambra State – continued to add that while “the 3-Man Ward Delegates list elected at appropriate and advertised venues by PDP Anambra State is protected by a subsisting Order of FCT High Court

Nzeribe explained that it was the reason by the IGP instructed Commissioner of Police Anambra to impound the result sheets & ballot papers the PDP Electoral panel that Andy Uba came with from Abuja to conduct the now illegal primary for national assembly aspirants in Anambra state.

“Our delegates went to Anaedo Hall Nnewi to do the primaries elections where I emerged beating Andy Uba by 317 Votes to 7”.

A source within the PDP party leadership structure in Abuja – when contacted, discounted Chuma Nzeribe’s latest claims as mischievous. “We know Chuma’s antecedents. It is needless replying him”.
