Stop The Rumour: Africa's Queen of TV, Mo Abudu Releases Statement, Threatens Lawsuit Over Link To Found Money

IMG_5917The Chief Executive Officer of Ebony Life TV, Mo Abudu, who was mentioned as owning one of the flats in the building where the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, discovered $50m has threatened lawsuit.
It will be recalled that, the controversial aide to the Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Lere Olayinka, had posted on his Facebook page thatthe flat in the luxury residential complex in Ikoyi, Lagos where the EFCC said it found $43,449,947, £27,800 and N23, 218,000 on Wednesday, is owned by the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi.
Olayinka, who has a notoriety for posting beer-palour inspired stories, claimed Amaechi bought two of the flats (7A and 7B), and then gave 7A to Mo Abudu, who he claimed to be Amaechi's girlfriend.
However, in a statement shared on her Instagram page, Abudu, who is regarded as the Queen of TV in Africa, has instructed her lawyers, Streamsowers & Kohn, to denounce such a claim. The statement stated she neither bought the said flat nor was gifted by anybody. It added that the allegations were completely false, malicious and without merit.
