Come May 1, Dr. Tunde Oshinowo, the Chairman of Tulsa Press, will be joining the golden age club, as he clocks 50. And he is leaving no stone unturned in making the celebration a most memorable one. Although, no definite plan has been unfolded, the event promises to be one of the grandest events held in recent times. Meanwhile, Oshinowo’s close friends and associates of are still deliberating on how best to celebrate the man who means a lot to them. Aside his forthcoming 50th birthday, Oshinowo is also looking forward to his 20th wedding anniversary with his wife, Folake, a former member of the House of Representatives and is currently, a Special Assistant to Honourable Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, the Speaker of the HoR.
A man of sartorial style and elegance, Oshinowo, who is fondly called Teddy Shine, by his friends and admirers, is also highly connected within the Nigerian social establishment. The lawyer-trained businessman is also a silent political gladiator, and he is acknowledged to be the force behind his wife’s enviable political career. The heavy presence of Nigeria’s list of A-class personalities at any of his events bears testimony to how Teddy Shine is loved and respected by his friends.
The ELITES gathered that Teddy Shine plans to travel to Saudi Arabia, for prayers and personal supplications. But on his returns, the preparations for the celebration of his 50th birthday and 20th wedding anniversary will kick off.
