...Trashed By a Little Known Politician
Former Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, on Monday lost his bid to fly the flag of the Peoples Democratic Party as governorship candidate in Nasarawa State.
Maku, who resigned from the Federal Executive Council to actualise his ambition, lost to Alhaji Yusuf Agabi, a little known politician, at the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa venue of the primary election.
The primaries election, supervised by former Senate President Adolphus Wabara, saw Agabi garnering 214 votes to defeat Labaran Maku, who scored 160
Agabi also defeated six other aspirants.
