On Wedneday, August 12th 2015 we lost loving son, brother and loyal friend, Peter Kayode Bello Jnr in a tragic accident. Friends, family and colleagues gathered at Catholic Church of the Divine Mercy, on Monday August 17th 2015 for a Service of Songs and to share tributes and celebrate his life.

The readings were taken by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Samantha Dimka, Oyelakin Omolewu, Nosa Igbinovia and Badom Taiwo and a moving homily delivered by Reverend Father Collins Ugochukwu with the choir leading the hymns.

Lami Phillips sang Because He Lives and tributes were shared by friends Pamela Imoukhede, Mai Atafo,  Bristow colleague and friend Gbenga, neighbour Dr Olamide, Temilade Denton, a friend with whom he attended Kwame Nkrumah University; Peter Ozzy, Enyi Omeruah, Mrs. Onigbanjo, Demi Banwo, Adebayo Williams and Noble Igwe.

There were moments of levity as happy memories were shared and the evening ended with a candlelit procession and the release of lanterns.
