FAMOUS SOCIETY LADY, NGOZI ORUBELE LOSES SON

Famous society lady and politician, Ngozi Orubele is bereaved. Her state of grief is occasioned by the heartrending death of Nnamdi, her first son. Nnamdi, 32, died last Wednesday, March 5, of kidney complication.
Until his death on that fateful day, Nnamdi had betrayed no sign of illness. He was brimming with life and had carried out his official obligations. It was learnt that, later on the day, Nnamdi had complained of feeling some discomfort and driven himself to
LASUTH General Hospital, Ikeja, where he was attended to by the doctors. Nnamdi, reportedly, requested that he be treated without any sedative. But the doctors were said to have declined to oblige him of that request. He was sedated on three occasions, before he went into coma. He never woke up from that coma. Since the news of Nnamdi’s death broke out, his family and friends have been heartbroken. Ngozi, a top notch member of the People Democratic Party and a formidable politician in Imo State, is the worst hit by Nnamdi's death. And so are her three younger sons. Since her husband, Chief Innocent Orubele, died six years ago, Ngozi has been drawing strength from Nnamdi, who was said to have done a great job, looking after her and his brothers. The affable young man who was well loved by his friends wil be buried in his home town in Imo State.
