As the Saturday election draws nearer, the people of the State of Osun have warned the duo of Musiliu Obanikoro; Jonathan’s Minister of State for Defence and Chris Uba; who is identified as a political thug from Anambra State to leave the vicinity of the State of Osun in the next three hours or there will be a revolt against the inexplicable presence of the duo, who has been harassing the electorate in the last ten days.
Obanikoro and Uba are alleged to be the brains behind the thumbprinting of ballot papers in various parts of the State with the aim to rig Saturday election in favour of the Peoples Democtatic Party (PDP) candidate, Iyiola Omisore.
The people of the State under aegis of Osun Elites while addressing a press conference this morning said the Minister of State for Defence; Musiliu Obanikoro and the from Anambra; Chris Uba are not from the State of Osun and they have no business in the state, and if the Presidency refused to order them out of the state for obvious reasons, the people of the State will not hesitate to revolt against them and uphold their rights.
“Uba and Obanikoro are not voters here and they have no business here hence, they have to leave our state for us to decide by ourselves who governs us. We are also calling the International Community to be watching the event as it unfolds because Jonathan has reneged on his earlier promise of ensuring a free and fair election in the State of Osun because one wonders why people like Obanikoro and a thug from Anambra will be allowed in the State since last week Saturday’” Osun Elites said.
It would be recalled that Musiliu Obanikoro and Chris Uba along with Jonathan’s Police Affairs Minister; Jelilli Adesiyan have been going around the state distributing huge amount of money, rice, vegetable oil and others to buy people’s conscience to vote an unpopular candidate which the people have been rejecting openly.
