Celebrating Ruth Osime, The Ultimate Style Connoisseur, At 54

Ruth Osime, the Editor of THISDAY Style, clocks 54 today, 6 February, 2018, and her friends and admirers have taken to various social media platforms to celebrate her.
The ELITES gathered that Osime's close friends are hosting a modest soirée to celebrate the lady who means the world to them. Moreover, her younger sisters, Grace and Omome are also neck-deep in the hosting of the forthcoming event.
Osime joined THISDAY Newspaper as Project Manager. In 2003, she moved to the Saturday Desk as the Style Editor, while she wrote her hugely popular column, Truth By Ruth, for the Sunday Newspaper. In 2005, a newly packaged Sunday paper was launched with a 24-page Style glossy pullout. Today, it has become the fashion and society bible. Fondly called the His and Hers Sunday edition, THISDAY Style is the most widely read style magazine in Nigeria.
With the phenomenal success of THISDAY Style magazine as the last word on fashion and style in Nigeria, it would be easy to assume that Osime has a a penchant for hardwork and clockwork efficiency.
